The Manoir Harwood CHSLD is a private long-term care facility located in Vaudreuil-Dorion. We also run the CHSLD Soulanges, located in Coteau-du-Lac.

The person hired for this position will carry out housekeeping work in accordance with the facility’s standards for cleanliness, health and safety.

Principal duties:

  • Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of the facility;
  • Clean all surfaces and equipment or furniture in allocated premises, bathrooms, rooms, etc. in accordance with time frames and hygiene, health and safety standards;
  • Ensure residents’ safety at all times (code of ethics);
  • Contribute daily to improving our residents’ living environment while respecting disinfection protocols and ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all residents;
  • Moving heavy loads to specific locations requires physical strength.


Needed skills and competencies:

  • Ability to work standing for extended periods;
  • Work with autonomy and initiative;
  • Be familiar with cleaning equipment;
  • Take an interest in seniors;
  • Tolerance to stress;
  • Good communication and teamwork skills;
  • Carry out a variety of tasks connected to the department.

Type of employment: Full time / part time (days, evenings and weekends)

Salary: as per collective agreement (Pay scale similar to the public sector)
